I know a lot of people don’t like bugs, but come on!! This scarab beetle is getting a bad rep!
This tear drop pendant is handmade out of glass. It measures about 1x1” wide at the largest part at the bottom (glass only) The outer width (metal bezel) measures 2x2” inches. The bezel is buckle free so it won’t turn your skin weird colors.

It is on an adjustable white cord necklace. The smallest measurement the necklace can go is 16” inches. The longest is 24”
It is also attached by a lobster claw.

The scarab beetle was also called the dung beetle because of its practice of rolling a ball of dung across the ground which it then used as a food source. ... In ancient Egyptian religion the scarab was also a symbol of immortality, resurrection, transformation and protection much used in funerary art.
These beetles are also super trendy in fashion right now. 😉

This is a great gift for someone who studies bugs, loves nature, wildlife, or camping, and also loves the outdoors. It kinda had a morbid meaning so if you have someone who is a little edgy, I think they would love this as a gift too.


Note: this pendant is water repellent but not water proofs. No rolling around in mud puddles with it. Probably no swimming either.
